Description: “Te Deum laudamus” is a Latin hymn of praise that I have dedicated to my friend Patrick Lonergan. My SATB setting (with divisi) is full of uplifting sections, and it also has some contrasting, introspective sections, as befits the text. A very tonal piece, with sections that hearken back to the great Renaissance composers of the 15th and 16th centuries.
