Description: “Da pacem Domine” is a musical search for peace. It explores the basic question whether we humans can find peace on our own, or whether we need guidance from some higher power or energy force. Dedicated to two dear relatives named James: my grandfather Jimmy Rain (1895-1974), a World War I vet, who showed me such love as a boy and a young man growing up; and my cousin Jamie Shaw (1959-2019) whose courage, good spirit and humour throughout his terminal illness was an inspiration to all who knew him.
